Hazel Frew was born in 1968, grew up in Broughty Ferry, on the east coast of Scotland and graduated from Glasgow University in 1991. Her poems have been widely published in magazines and anthologies including Orbis, The Rialto, Painted, spoken, Poetry Scotland, Fras, and New Writing Scotland. Her first pamphlet, Clockwork Scorpion is published by Rack Press (January 2007).
