Aspects of the Taj
The big white palace is
bigger than imagining.
Bubbles on the river
dome mightily over the plain.
Black calligraphy swirls across
the palace of white froth.
In the dark gardens
human beings are a vapour.
The big white belly has
a dark close stench within.
It carries counterfeits of tombs,
the bones of a queen
and her misplaced man.
