André Mangeot lives in Cambridge and works as a fundraising consultant for the charity sector. His poetry and short stories have appeared in many magazines and journals including The Times Literary Supplement, The Spectator, New Statesman and London Magazine. He has also won prizes in several leading competitions including the Bridport and Wigton/Scottish National. For a number of years he was a member of the performance group Joy of Six which played at venues across England and Wales, and in New York.
He has published three well-received collections, Natural Causes (Shoestring, 2003), Mixer (Egg Box, 2005) and Blood Rain (Seren, 2020) along with two books of short stories, A Little Javanese (Salt, 2008) and True North (Salt, 2010).
