Joanna Ezekiel was born in Essex and now lives in York. She has two pamphlets: A Braid of Words (Poetry Monthly Press, 2003) and Safe Passage (White Leaf Press, 2007), a full collection, Centuries of Skin, (Ragged Raven, 2010) and an e-chapbook, The Start of Rain (Goggle Publishing, 2012).
Joanna has an MA in Creative Writing and Personal Development from Sussex University, and is a creative writing tutor for the Open University and the Open College of the Arts. Joanna recently revised and updated a Level Two poetry course for the Open College of the Arts, and in March 2012 was a tutor for an Arvon Foundation/Open College of the Arts residential week at Lumb Bank. Joanna is a co-host of ‘The Speakers’ Corner’, a monthly poetry and prose event in York. She is working on a new poetry collection.
