Jehane Markham and her two musicians create a beguiling soundscape that springs from her poetry of memory and place. A mellow and evocative experience for any audience.

Jo Kingham, Co-Director, Ledbury Poetry Festival, 2008.

Jehane Markham was co-founder of Rough Winds Productions.

Jehane Markham is a true poet. Many of her poems glow like Impressionist paintings. You can taste the colours – a red cupboard hotter than love ’ the yellow dazzle of straw in a barn – glinting turquoise water and the tingle of silver.
