Graham Burchell (1950-2021) Graham Burchell was born in 1950 in Canterbury, England. He is the winner of the 2005 Chapter One Promotions Open Poetry Competition and the 2006 Hazel Street Productions Joy of Life Poetry Contest. He was also nominated for a 2006 Pushcart Prize. His poetry has appeared in well over a hundred print and online literary magazines including Euphony, Texas Poetry Review, Houston Literary Review, Poems Niederngasse, Contemporary American Poets and South Poetry Magazine. Author of two poetry books, Vermeer’s Corner (Foothills Publishing) and Ladies of Divided Twins (Erbacce Press), he has also written two children’s novels, Chester and the Green Pig and Chester and the Spell Breaker (Calderwood Books). He is the editor of the online poetry journal, Words-Myth, voted favourite internet-based magazine for 2007 by readers and visitors to Poetry Kit. His website can be found at http://www.gburchell.com
