Le Moulin, Villebaudon,
Normandy OUTER AND INNER LANDSCAPES: TUESDAY 26 SEPTEMBER - FRIDAY 29 SEPTEMBER 2006 OUTER AND INNER LANDSCAPES with MYRA SCHNEIDER and JOHN KILLICK - a three day poetry course for 12 participants. This course is at Le Moulin in Villebaudon, Normandy, France which is set in an exciting landscape and there will be an outing to an extraordinary beach. The course is suitable for poets with some experience of writing. Please submit a sample of recent work to Myra (or check with her if she knows your work. ) There will be group sessions in the morning with notebook work and writing exercises, time to work on your own and tutorials in the later part of the afternoon. There will also be evening events. Fees for a single room are £265 and this includes tuition and all meals from Tuesday evening to Friday lunch. If participants share a room the fee is £225. There is also an opportunity to bring a partner at a very reasonable fee or to have single accommodation in a double room at £275. Participants may stay the Saturday, Sunday and Monday prior to the course and the Friday afterwards (or some of these days, do self-catering and only pay £10 per night!) Travel is easy: flights from Stansted to Dinard or from Southampton to Rennes go every day. There is also a flight from Nottingham to Dinard. There is relatively cheap car hire from airports in France and arrangements can be made with the organizers, Kay Cotton/Sylvia Miles at Le Moulin to be collected from the airport at an extra cost.)
