Andrew Nightingale was born in 1969 and grew up in West Cornwall. He completed an MA Creative Writing at the University of Plymouth in 2005 and currently has a research studentship at Anglia University's Department of English, Communication, Film and Media. He had Arts Council funding in 2001 for an automated randomised cut-up poem sent to subscribers' mobile phones every day over the course of a month. His work has appeared in poetry magazines, such as Magma and 10th Muse, and online on sites such as, Great Works (www.greatworks.org.uk) and Big Bridge (www.bigbridge.org). His first collection, The Big Wheel, is published by Oversteps Books (www.overstepsbooks.com) and includes visual, prose, lyric and procedural forms. |
