Morphing
forefinger poised
on forehead she
touches
her mind through the third eye
she
has begun to be all that she would like:
a
diminutive fairy nestled in the hair of her lover’s armpit
finished
with braving big currents in a small world
burrowing
in a safe spot
transforming
then into the smile of a giantess
who
has held in her palm all the passions together
that
keep the heart’s fires alight
it
is not often she gets the chance to switch
between
extremes
she
would like to be the fairy again but knows
that
an adventurous soul
cannot
remain forever in an armpit
she
has begun to return
to
an ordinary size.
