Alison Hill lives in Teddington and works as a freelance writer and editor. She has been published in a range of poetry magazines and anthologies and has just completed her first play. Her poem Blush was highly commended in the Yeovil Literary Prize 2006 and recently published in Ripple, Kingston University’s literary magazine. Peppercorn Rent, Alison’s first pamphlet, was published by Flarestack in May 2008. Launch readings at Rhythm & Muse (22 May), Tongues & Grooves (29 June) and the Troubadour (22 September). Alison runs Rhythm & Muse — a poetry and music night in Teddington. Generally the last Thursday of each month, Rhythm & Muse features guest poets, live music and open mic spots.
